What happens if my test is positive?

If the confirmation test, which is carried out after a reactive HIV rapid test, is positive, you will be contacted by telephone by our partner specialist center, Checkpoint Zurich. Checkpoint Zurich has experienced infectiologists and they will accompany you through the rest of the process if you wish.

If you test positive for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis or hepatitis C, you will be notified by us via text message. In this text message, we will inform you of the result, recommend suitable contact points and answer any further questions you may have.
