How fast do I get the results?

You'll get your HIV result in just 20 minutes. In the meantime, you can wait in the waiting room or step outside for some fresh air. We'll come get you after the waiting time is up and tell you the result. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us then.

If your rapid HIV test comes back reactive, we can do a confirmation test right here at TEST-IN. For that, we'll take a small blood sample from your vein.

We send the blood sample needed for syphilis or hepatitis C analysis to Dr. Risch's lab. We also send the swab samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea to Dr. Risch's lab. The lab analyzes the blood samples and lets us know the results. We check them and then send you an SMS with your results. You'll get your results within 3 to 5 days.
