How does a test visit to TEST-IN work?

If you would like to come to us for advice and testing, the procedure is as follows.

You will be greeted at the Intake (reception) and registered anonymously. You will receive your personal and anonymous code, as well as a questionnaire, which you can fill out at your leisure in the waiting room.

After completing the questionnaire, you will be picked up by a counselor and taken to the counseling room. There you can tell the counselor about your questions and possible risk situations. Once you have decided which tests you would like to take, your blood will be taken. Depending on the test, we will need blood from your vein or from your finger.

If you decide to have a smear test, this will be explained to you. The samples taken should be handed in sealed at reception.

You will receive the result of the HIV test after 20 minutes and will come back to the consultation room.

In the meantime, you can pay for the tests either in cash to the counselor or by card (Twint also possible) at reception.

All together it takes about 40 to 60 minutes.
