How does an STI test work?

Depending on the test you want, we'll need a bit of blood from your vein or fingertip. It won't take long. If you're not comfortable with blood or needles, just let the person helping you know anytime.

If you want to get tested for chlamydia or gonorrhoea (the clap), we'll need a swab.

Both the swab and blood samples are sent to Dr. Risch's lab for analysis.

We'll send you your results by SMS in 3 to 5 days.

For HIV, you'll get your rapid test result in just 20 minutes.
